I've added over 60 pictures that I took today on the Intimidator 305 construction site at Kings Dominion. You can view the pictures in my Intimidator 305 photo gallery. The construction site was messy due to the rain on Thursday night, but the crew was working hard despite the muddy ground. If things go as planned the lift hill should be completed on Sunday.

Great pictures, Brian. Its amazing the advances in engineering have done away with so much support structure, paring it down to a minimum with such a high-stress configuration. Computer mdeling is the magic touch. We used to laugh at Intamin, as they were at one time known as the Trailways Bus of Ride construction. Hope they aren't anymore...
I think most would say that Intamin is the top dog now.
Brian great pictures, like your first child being born alot of excitement and can't wait for that special day. Getting prepared for that special day, the day the ride opens what a joyfull and rewarding day, how about a contest to see who rides it first? 2 lucky season pass holders who fill out a entry form or something like it,sure hope KD gives you the first ride.keep up the great pictures
I'd need a lot of kaoepectate to ride on that thing.
Do you prefer steel or wooden structure roller coasters? and why?
I like both steel and wooden coasters. It would be hard to pick a favorite. Although, most of my favorite coasters are made of steel (Kingda Ka, Millenium Force, Maverick, Top Thrill Dragster)
The best wooden coaster I've been on would have to be El Toro. The airtime that you get on that ride is amazing.
