A month or two ago, a friend showed me a picture message that someone had forwarded to him. The picture showed a cougar dragging a buck and it claimed to have been taken in Caroline County. First of all, if you look at the picture the terrain looks nothing like what you would see in Virginia. The only cougars we have in the state of Virginia or ever will have are the older women who prey on younger men. Now there is a text message being passed around with a picture of a 39 point buck that it also claims was killed in Virginia. That's another text message lie, that buck was actually killed in Illinois. What's with the people sending pictures of stuff claiming it was taken in Virginia? I'm still waiting to get a text message with a picture of the Sasquatch that was killed in King William County.

Surely, you jest, brian! We had plenty of cougars up in Loudoun County. They usually kept back in the woods behind our house.
trust me, the only cougars in Virginia are walking around on two legs
Cougars are otherwise known as mountain lions, are native to Virginia. They're just about everywhere. Just different name.
meade i think you are thinking of bobcats
yeah he is thinking about Bobcats, cougars were wiped out on the east coast in the early 1900's. I think the last one killed in Virginia was in the 1890's...
Um, no. Im talking about mountain lions aka Cougars. They are in Virginia. Most of them are in the Mountain areas, of course. There have been reports of cougars in King William county for a long time. I have seen then in Loudoun county, near the blue ridge and cotoctin line.
trust me, you will see a sasquatch in virginia before a cougar
Okay, well I guess I will because I seen a cougar in Loudoun County VA.
